| Removal of all existing fixtures and fittings Removal of the suspended ceiling and installation of new Taking up of the existing flooring including skirting and provide new flooring and skirting Removal of old doors and installation of new lead lined doors to give 30 minute fire protection Paint all walls and woodwork The complete rewiring of the room to include the installation of a new isolated power supply, lighting and door closers New x-ray screen installed with associated wiring New power supplies for Phillips equipment along with trunking in the ceiling void and associated conduits New sink unit and supplies/wastes Air conditioning to room Fixing of various items required for the installation of new equipment, along with the certification of existing uni-strut system to carry new equipment Works involved close liaison with the hospital due to the fact that there were three operating rooms above and drilling / noisy works had to be planned round this. |
